A quiet café, Sydney CBD

Off the main drag.
On purpose.

A tucked-away kiosk down a side street, ten to fifteen minutes on foot from the corporate towers. Small room, short menu, minimal signage. We mind our own business.

The kiosk

Small room, short menu, no fuss

We are a neighbourhood coffee shop down a side street, not on the obvious route to anything. You will not wander past us by accident. That is rather the point.

The room

Small and tucked away, with corner tables where a conversation stays at the table. No corporate crowd, no lanyards, nobody looking up when the door opens.

The counter

Coffee first, done properly. The rest of the menu is short and kept short on purpose. Order at the counter, or order ahead and walk straight in.

The laneway

A discreet entrance on a side street off the main drag. Minimal signage. People find us because they meant to, not because they were passing.

The staff

We recognise our regulars and we do not pry. Minding our own business is the house culture, not a slogan.

Order ahead

Skip the counter, keep the quiet

Tell us what you want and when you will arrive. Your order is waiting, no queue, no fuss.

  • Coffee

A coffee shop first. Made properly, without fuss.

    [TBD]

  • The short menu

A short list beyond coffee, kept deliberately short. Ask at the counter.

    [TBD]

This is a pickup request, not a payment. We confirm by phone or email, and you pay at the counter.

House rules

We mind our own business

A quiet room only works if everyone keeps it that way. The rules are short and we hold to them.

  • "Your table, your conversation."
  • "We recognise you. We don't pry."

Low tones carry no further than the next chair. What is said over coffee here leaves with the people who said it.
